Food was very good. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Thanks we will be back.
Good food good environment
This is my favorite sit down restaurant on main! I can always find good hot food to eat here despite my allergies. I can bring my kids and know they too can find something to eat with no issue at all. Friendly, kind, lovable staff. Decent prices.
MoreI enjoy breakfast and lunch there. Food and the service is good
Main Street Cafe is very good. Food and service. We plan our trips to Clanton based on meal time so we can eat there. Home made fried okra on Thursdays is some of the best ever.
MoreHad a great lunch here. It’s typical meat and three plus dessert. The fried chicken was amazing! Service was a bit slow but overall good experience.
MoreAwesome country food
What a great place to eat, casual, food was very good and everyone was so friendly!
MoreVery good food and good people to surve you.
Great food
Great food and good service.
Good service, plenty of food, very reasonable.
The food was great as was the service.
Food is always fresh and delicious and you get plenty to eat. Always great...
Went for a quick bite to eat ..food was mediocre definitely needed more seasonings service is great
MoreThis is your perfect example of down home, Southern cooking. This restaurant is the perfect little slice of heaven in this little town. The bread pudding is absolutely magnificent!! You must try it out!!
MoreNot my favorite place.
Great breakfast and price and service is great
Delicious meat and three served quickly. Great service and a good spot for a sit down lunch even if you are short on time.
MoreThe food was wonderful. We had breakfast and it was quick and good. The hash browns were fresh and large enough to share. The gravy was thick and not too salty. The biscuit was crunchy and perfectly supported the gravy. My husband loved the grits. I'd go back there any time we go thru.
MoreWe had a great late breakfast! Reasonably priced with friendly service. We were traveling on Interstate 65 and had to drive into town about 4 miles but it was well worth the short detour. Lunch menu looked fabulous also, veggies and home cooking..mmm mmm! Will stop by again on another trip. :)
MoreBreakfast special is great and a good value!
The food is really goooood BREAKFAST is wonderful cannot beat the price and you can taste the home made love in the buscuits and grits
MoreGreat small town Cafe. Food was good. Burgers are excellent. Service was good as well.
MoreGreat food great price
Nice little home feel. Service was super slow and it wasn't busy at all. I arrived and it was my 1st time ever being here so I stood near the door not knowing if it was self seat or not. After about 4 or 5 minutes a lady came up and I asked and she just said find a seat. So I did. The booths are a bit small so I opted for a table. Took nearly 10 minutes for a waitress to come take a drink order. I also gave my order at the same time. After about 25 minutes my food arrives. I eat my grits which are a bit lumpy but good. Then I cut into my omelet and there are onions! Gag! I was finally able to get waitresses attention and she grabbed my entire plate and had them remake. 15 minutes later my food came back out. So if you want to spend over an hour to get a meal and no refills on your drink, this is the place for you. I know I wont be coming back to pay $13 for a meal that took that long and was just mediocre.
MoreLove their home cooked southern food. Best biscuits ever! Friendly home feeling every time we go here. Just like momma made!
MoreThis place has the best food. Loved bringing my family back with me.
Down home great food, historic atmosphere, very friendly people! I had beef tips and rice, fried okra, slaw and cornbread with homemade chocolate pudding for dessert. I plan to go back as soon as I get a chance!
MoreVery good food but also very pricey.
Good food + service + value
French toast tasted like onions.I also stood at the counter waiting to pay for at least ten minutes while the staff just looked around.
MoreI love to try new places, so my fiance took me here for breakfast last week on a Thursday. The staff was pretty friendly, the choices they had was awesome. We ordered our food and it didnt take very long to come out. My daughter order 3 pancakes (but only got 2, and was still charged for 3) her bacon was missing at first, but they got it to us. My hanshbrowns were supposed to have cheese and didnt so she took them back...and litterally took some shredded cold cheese and put it on top..didnt even pretend to warm them up in a microwave. Other than that ...the food was really good! The bisquits were huge and the flavoring of everything was great. I did like the homey feel of the place, and the fact they use random cute coffee mugs! We cant get 100% all the time, i know this working in restaurant. Overall good food, and mediocre experience ...will give it another try!
MoreGreat food and good service. Collards we're especially good to me.
Great Food. Consistently!
If you like good ,down home, country foods like Mama cooked, you will love Main Street.....Lunch specials-(meat and three)...salad bar....regular menu choices...desserts....Yes, they have it all...Some of my favs....Fried/grilled chicken, meatloaf, beef roast, pork roast, fish, purple hull peas, homemade mashed potatoes, fried okra, cabbage, squash, you get the picture...You're always treated like family by the staff...Please tip these hard working ladies. That's a hard job. They deserve it... Give Main Street a try. You will be glad you did.
MoreA great breakfast deal! Great food wonderful service!
Great home cooked meals and sweet tea.
This is one of my favorite places to eat! The food, and service is always wonderful! Today ( Nov 4),I was disappointed in the tomato casserole. It was very, very sweet. And,the Cole slaw was very strong with onions. I like onions, but it was so strong that me or my Daughter could not eat it. This is the only complaint I've ever had, and I don't like bashing good people. I will be back, and I love the good country cooking. Just wanted someone to know so it could be checked next time. Thank you.
MoreI have the greatest southern home-cooked food
Absolutely the best beef tips and rice, Mac and cheese, and fried okra I’ve ever had!
MoreVery quaint, usually great service, knows their regulars, great breakfast southern home cooking. Ever had tomato gravy and white meat??? Roll in on a Saturday morning and grab some!!!
MoreMeat and three in downtown. Walk in and find yourself a table, and enjoy several options from the daily menu. The food is adequate, and includes drink, desert, and salad bar, all for under a sawbuck.
MoreGreat ppl. Great food
Great food and service
Great place. Building has so much character. Loved it.
This is truly a small town meat and three. The menu changes daily and usually is 2 or 3 meat choices with about 6 or 7 choices of sides. Corn bread and dessert are included as well as a drink for a relatively good deal. The food is alright and the atmosphere is cheerful. Hard to leave in a bad mood.
MoreNo there's already a waiting line.
I just can't say enough about Main Street. It's the best thing to happen to our small town that's growing everyday. The atmosphere is so great. Everyone that works there treats you like family and the food is unbelievably delicious. Sundays after church are my favorite because they serve chicken dressing and vegetables like fried okra and purple hull peas. It's hard to find food like this in this day and time.. It reminds me of eating at my grandmother's house when I was a kid..
MoreThe best, freshest vegetables I have found at any restaurant. I don't think anything they serve is from a can. Terrific selection, service, and flavor! You really need to try this place.
